系統說明 NTHU System

國立清華大學「水木清華網」(NTHU Memory Net)所採用的「整合型多媒體內容檢索系統(i-M-C-S)」基於LINUX/MySQL/PHP技術，由Global Connection and Collaboration（以下簡稱GlobalCC）陳劉欽智教授授權使用。本系統是陳教授在Simmons College任教期間所領導的研發團隊，在美國國家科學基金會（NSF）的支持下，於2001至2010期間開發，並運用於「世界遺產記憶網」(World Heritage Memory Net)及「全球記憶網」(Global Memory Net)。2005年起，由Boris Badurina出任i-M-C-S系統技術指導，並在本計畫中持續擔任技術開發指導，依「水木清華網」之建置需求調整i-M-C-S之設計，並加入新的功能特色。

Global Connection and Collaboration (GlobalCC) has made it possible for NTHU to use the advanced LINUX/MySQL/PHP-based Integrated Multimedia Content Retrieval System (i-M-C-S) which Professor Chen and her R & D Group developed at Simmons College under the sponsorship of the US National Science Foundation for her two world-class projects, World Heritage Memory Net and Global Memory Net, between 2001 and June, 2010.   Since 2005, Boris Badurina has been the Technology Development Lead for this activity.

To accommodate NTHU Memory Net’s needs, much modification and enhancement of the i-M-C-S system had to be made, and some new features had to be added. Boris Badurina has continued his valuable contributions as Technical Development Lead with this project.
